Ameluz
Medicine by Biofrontera. Ameluz® is the name of a new drug approved in Europe in December 2011 for the treatment of actinic keratosis. NOMEN developed the brand name on behalf of Biofrontera Pharma GmbH in Leverkusen. The name component “luz” is derived from the Spanish word for light, playing on photodynamic therapy (PDT) and emphasizing the brand message, “for all who love light”.
